Hi,
Irecently bought a SOSW-833S on ebay, and am having a few issues with it burning dvds.
Although it burns them (tried several brands), it takes 40min or so to do it.
According to Nero real speed It starts fine at 2.4x and goes 4x fine, but at 35 / 40% it sudennly sees it speed decreased to 1x / 2x, and the drive buffer goes up and down like it had not enough input... The thing is the rest is handling it fine...
Also, it came with firmware VSF1 and I upgraded it to VS04, so its strattegies would improve too, but I se no difference...
DMA is on (UDMA2) and everything else seems fine...
Any hint regarding how can I correct this?
