H20+ v2 chip disabled? Any advice please

Hello.
I recently had a slimline ps2 version 17 (scph-77003) modded with a H20+ V2 chip.
It worked perfectly. Then when i decided to try it out a week later no backups or import ps1/ps2 games function anymore which i found really bizzare.
Only UK games work (with it being a UK console). I have a feeling I might have disabled the chip somehow??? Is this possible? Any advice on how I can enable the chip to function again on the slimline? (Hoping that's the problem)
Before i even discovered when something was wrong I was playing region 2 dvd's on the slimline, although that's highly unlikely to have caused this some how I'm assuming.

The person who moddified my system isn't available until the end of the week so I'm kind of stuck with how this works.


Any help would be appreciated.
