I'll weep, but the movie industry hasn't changed the encryption to make it obsolete yet. There's still a bunch of sites around the web downloading the last version for those who still want a copy.

I have to agree with Auslander, AnyDVD is the best driver decryption software. However, for ripper types DVDFab Decrypter and Ripit4Me get the job done and they're both free. The DVDFab Decrypter won't be going anywhere unless DVDIdle decides to stop giving it away. Then a person can buy DVDFab Platinum. I've got AnyDVD but don't use it as much since I prefer using ripped files from the HDD to do my backups.

Quite right , as Slysoft AnyDVD updates more often than other other :-)

(sometimes aD does a % off coupon for AnyDVD or CloneDVD , look out for it)

My opinion, but don't get DVD43. ;) I'm not the only one who had problems with it.

New here so maybe you can help. A co-worker just gave me a copy of ripit4me (bundle) but the thing keeps telling me the dvdfab decryter path cannot be found when I show it the path it tells me not a decryter. What am I doing wrong?

program yet? Ripit4me won't work with anything but "DVD Decrypter". Fab is a great program but Ripit4me will not recognize anything other than it's default program paths. You can find all the needed downloads (shrink/Decrypter) in your drop down menus at the top of the Ripit4me program screen.
