I've had my daytek p30 for a little less than a year now. and never had a problem with it except for the common jittering problem. I have never installed and firmware on it, only the 2960 code to unlock the region free. Just yesturday it started going crazy, everything was fine until i entered the 2960 code again. now its going crazy, it turns on and off by its self, if i set it to s-video in, after a few seconds it jumps to dv in, if i open the tray, it opens and closes by itself, the pause button only pauses for 2 seconds, while recording, the OTR comes on by itself, its literlly going insane. all these problems appeared at once yesturday. is there a firmware that i can use to fix this and which ones i should use, i heard there are some i shouldnt install cause it will deactivate the macrovison and the 3 hr recording.
