I downloaded dat and eboot of the 3.40 oe-a installer

do i jsut put that in the GAME/RECOVERY folder and run it from the recovery menu?

or is there another way I have to do it?

go to the stickies, winstaller thread, download recovery winstaller, go to recovery mode enable usb, run recovery winstaller to place recovery files to psp/game and then exit usb and select the option 'run eboot at psp/game/recovery/eboot.pbp
