I have 2 computers and was wondering which one I should put my Sony 510a burner on.

1 - HP Pent4 2.0 ghz 512 RAM 120GB
running XP HOme edition

2 - Compaq Celeron 2.5 ghz 256 RAM 80 GB
running Windows 2000 Professional

I plan on buying DVDXcopy Xpress to make backup copies of all my DVD. Any help would be appreciated

DVD re-compiling is very CPU intensive. I would use the Pentium computer with more RAM.

All the bruning info you need to start is here: http://www.dvdrhelp.com/forum/userguides/141024.php#dvd9dvd2one

I would not use the Celeron as it will not think as fast, ever though a 2.5. The Celeron means that the Cache is striped down and possibly that the math coproccessor is slow. Older Celerons didn't have math chips, and were really slow. So don't use the Celeron.

Got to be the p4. Better processor, more memory and bigger hard drive. Got same setup with pioneer A06 working sweet.
