my mate gave me a psp which he said was bricked but u can get a purple menu pop up on it which has option etc on it!!!

it wont start up like normal is there one who can help me fix this psp

if u can access the flash just overwrite it with a 1.5/oe firmware dump and if thats not the case then try getting a mod chip
