Just a wondering....I am going back to Japan for a business trip again soon and wondered that if I bought some equipment over there (ie camera, wireless joypad etc) would they work on the UK system. Stuff in Japan is much cheaper than in UK and while I am not desperate for the items, it's worth knowing.
Can anyone help me please?

Yes these will work fine because they do not take power directly from a an electric socket unlike the power supply which should be of the same voltage as your country.These peripherals connect directly to the console,so it's ok.
