Hi, at the moment I'm using the internet connection on my laptop to give my xbox connectivity through an ethernet cable (while i wait for my wireless adaptor to come). It works for the media centre functions and I can play my music etc through media centre. But when I do the Media test the Pc check fails..and in the media section for video and music it can't find my PC. so as a result I can't do all the cool Tversity stuff with DivX streamin etc..Can anyone help?

How is your ethernet connection to the 360 made?
Via ICS? Or bridging?

Maybe my choice of words was wrong with bridging, yeh I meant ICS..I'm not sure if it's firewall problem's or what which are causing the problem

what version of windows media player do you have?

if you have 11 then make sure media sharing is on...
