You need to D/L DVDFAB Decrypter and rip the DVD to the HD first. Then use Shrink on those files. Shrink can not do the newer encryptions.
DVDFAB Decrypter: http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm

The reason you probably do not have a problem is that program has been updated (because of the DVD structure problems) and Shrink has not been updated in 3+ years. Shrink needs the files to be 100% DVD Compliant. If you still want to use Shrink then rip the files to HD and then use FixVTS to make the files compliant and then use Shrink. DVDFAB Decrypter should make the files compliant

Shrink has been updated but you have to buy it now. I've found I can copy anything using DVDFab Gold. I bought it on line for about A$25 & it's money well spent.

joemi7,
Shrink has not been updated as they are selling you the old version. Do not get ripped off for a program that is free.

Did Happy Feet this morning using DVD Shrink with AnyDVD (6.1.3.6) running in background - no problems - main movie only - region 4.

I used DVDFAB to rip the movie onto my H/D but it is not in ISO format, how do I shrink it as the only option is to put it onto a D/L disk as movie is over 5G.

I haven't tried "Happy Feet" yet, will let you know when I do.
DVDFab Gold allows you to write to disk as well. I always copy to my hard drive & then write to disk...no problems to date

I can follow up to step 35 but with DVDshrink, doesn't it automatically start burning the DVD once it has finished encoding the movie, provided that you have Nero, this is how I have it set on my PC.
Do I "need" Image Burn or is it optional.

If you have Nero activated then by all means use Nero. The guide was showing the free way and Nero costs $$

Hi guys ,
Thanks for all the advice. I'm now able to burn HAppy Feet using DVDFAB and Shrink .
One more question. The TV is a 4:3 screen. When I try to play this movies, it does not cover the top and bottom screen or not fully.
Is there any way to correct this during burning.

You are waching a Widescreen Version on a Fullscreen TV. You can use Avisynch, Sony Vegas or Premiere Pro to convert. It will be quicker and cheaper to buy the Widescreen TV as Vegas and Premiere Pro are not cheap.
