4 gig mem card problem

I have a 4 gig sony mem stick pro due i have had it working fine on my psp for a couple of weeks now but it has stopped working it cant see any games on it but when i plug it into my computer everthing seems fine, i have tried to reformat it but it fails any help pls

you mean you plug the card into your PC and it works but doesn't work in your PSP?

Mines a Fake and it works fine!

Actually I thought it was a fake but then read an article on Ebay that caught my interest. I now believe the majority of certain cards sold on ebay are probably rejected ones that didnt pass a quality or performance test. They are then probably test for functionality and sold in bulk as second rate cards to third party sellers who in turn sell them on ebay...just my guess.

yes it works on pc but not on psp it shows its there but nothing on it,and when i try to format it fails

My eBay stick worked kinda funny when I got it. It would show a Memstick on my PSP but with 0 kbyte capacity. So I tried formatting it on the PSP and it failed, failed, failed again. Then I connected it to my Computer and tried having Windows format it as a drive, it failed a few times too. Then I got back on the PSP and tried formatting it a few times and then it worked! Dunno what was going on but after it finally formatted correctly its been working fine ever sense.

Actually they are 100% counterfeit. You see, in HongKong, copy-rights laws are not enforced (or not as well as we would like). People copy namebrand company's technology, and start churning out replica of their own. like memory sticks and mp3 player. they use the same technology but just poor material and quality control.
