Hey there folks!

Im new to this site, ive seen it around to gather information it before and wanted to join.

Very sorry if there is a thread like this already its just i need some quick info.

I have manged to downgrade my PSP to 1.5 and i want to upgrade it to mainly 3.40OE-A mainly for running Full PSP games and PSX games. I was just wondering if anybody can give me the lowdown of what the real good side of haveing 2.40OE-A is all about or if i should just upgrade to a 3.03OE-A.

to be on the safe side first update to 3.03oe-a then 3.10oe-a then 3.30oe-a then 3.40oe-a thats what i did with mine.

Haha, if i were you
I would upgrade to 3.03 OE-C
which is the PERFECT Custom Firmware for me.

*You can play ISOs+Homebrew
+Also can play PSX games (PSone)
+Do anything available on 1.5 + 3.03
+Added extra Recovery mode

Use Hex's Winstaller is the BEST!;)
Also the Easiest & Safest way!!

Brilliant thank you so much!!!! with this custom firmware can i change the theme of my psp?

I seen a real cool NES Theme on a site and tryed to download it but came up all werid files?

is it a custom firmware i need to have a real cool theme on my PSP?

--Most likely u can do like LOADS of stuff on 3.03 OE-C.

very very sorry for the double posting, I no it makes most forums look messy. i didnt mean to so, sorry :)

but as in themes i mean the Icons and sounds and all that is you know what i mean like instead of the icons used within the psp you can get "a theme" for it

Very very very sorry for the double post i just need some quick help.

i upgraded to 3.03oe-c and i put ff7 on it. it freezes half way through the intro?

anybody any idea on how to fix this stoopid problem?

thats what i have

it might have to be NTSC i read it somewhere else, or it might just be a bad rip i riped it to a IMG. so i might try ISO. this time and see what happens

You need to rip the PSX Game to .iso format,
then use a converter to convert it
to EBOOT.pbp

When u r in 3.03 OE-C,
i'll teach u anything.

Just upgrade to 3.03 OE-C.

i upgraded to 3.40oe-a

i riped it into a .iso format then converted it, only problem is that i left my memory card in my g/f's psp!!!!!!!! now i have to wait till tomara to get it :( but thanks anywayz ;)

very very sory for the double post again (im starting to feel bad now :( ) its just a really need some quick help on this can anyone state me the programs they used for FF7 and played it and it has worked fine for them?

and how do i put custom themes on my psp i have a real cool Cloud (FF7) one which i want on and im wrecking my brain trying to work it out!!!!

I havent upgraded my PSP in a while. I want to go up to custom firmware 3.40 OE-A from 3.03 OE-B. What do i need to do to upgrade with out any issues. I know if i remember correctly do I need to downgrade then upgrade?
