"janrocks" final PM request of me earlier today.
I asked her to take sometime before she left the forum, but I guess that was not to be.
This is parts of her PM to me. Jan asked for me to post the farewell wishes, but I think her words would carry more meaning.

This is sad indeed!
However I do agree with Jan. I have been at this site on and off for about the past 3.5 years. It was great when I started and I have noticed, dispite my staggered appearances, that with in the past 6-8 months it has gone down hill a bit.

My 2¢ worth,
we are not rats abandoning a sinking ship, stay and fight the seemingly endless sea of stupidity we are adrift in. Personally, I think this site is something worth fighting for.

I also agree with that.
On a side note it is a sad day when one of what i would clasify as linch pins of the site has decided to leave. This place will never be the same.
The other sad part is we loose member everyday but loosing a person like jan will be irreplaceable. The ratio to males to females is already way not equal and now it has become even more lower.
