OK for Dbox to be on 24/7?

Is it OK to leave my Dbox on all the time? I dont like how long it takes to boot up if I put it in standby! It takes just about 1min!
Im using Commando8.

yeah once the lcd screen has gone black and theres a little red dot is ok to leave it like that

No, I mean ON with the LCD showing the channel name. If I put the box into standby (ie with the screen black and the red LED showing) then switch it on it takes over 1min to turn on.

It does a full boot, eg. info screen, commando splash screen, etc. Once booted i then have to wait a further 1 or 2 mins for the channels to decode!

Is this nornal or a problem with my commando 8 image.

OK it me not the box or the image!

Commando 8 has standby set to off as default in the settings!
