Ok, here's the rumor.

I heard that they are going to reset the ranks in Halo 2 once the new maps are incorporated into matchmaking.

How true is this?

um i heard about that and i think bungie confirmed the reset of ranking because they are switching servers to make the rank better but i thought they should have done it by now i think they either keep pushing it back or its just not going to happen at all but i think they will do it.

I've heard this rumor so many times. They've never reset the ranks before after constant rumors about this happening. They might reset it this time though, there is a first time for everything.

i read on bungie today that they are going to reset the ranks...they said if they werent having the problems with the downloading the new maps then it would have been done already.
