I've been getting popups from "winantivirus", "systemdoctor" and a bunch of others. I use Firefox, but IE keeps popping up in the background regardless.

I ran all the steps found here http://www.pchell.com/support/smitfraud.shtml

and here's my HijackThis log. Any help?

Thanks a bunch in advance...

Let's see...

SmitFraudFix should have generated a log called rapport.txt. Can you post that in your next reply?

It is quite obvious (to me, not to you :D) that you have Vundo. Right click on HijackThis.exe (or whatever HijackThis is named) and rename it to asdf.exe. This will "bypass" the Vundo until we fix it.

Those ads are all bad. Can you tell me what other ads you are getting?

You need an anti-virus scanner. Download Avira AntiVir, run a scan of your local hard disks. It should generate a report (you have to do this manually at the end of the scan by clicking on the "Report" button). Copy and paste that report in your next reply.

Open up HijackThis and do a scan. Place check marks beside the following entries:

In your next reply, post rapport.exe, an Avira AntiVir report, and a asdf.exe (HijackThis) logfile.

Sorry to put you through the trouble; I've posted this on a couple tech forums and already got a helpful response in the other. Problem's almost solved :/

Thanks for the reply anyways!
