modding slim PS2 to play backups w/o modchip

ok i know its possible to mod without a modchip because of this action replay and swapmagic with usb support and all. But im wondering can you mod to play backups with gameshark v1.2 and i also have swapmagic burned to a cd and dvd if that helps

a back up or burned copy of Swap Magic will not work. Just buy it and a set of Magic Keys II and your set to play back ups.

the whole point of swap magic is it allows you to play back ups

so...

if your swap magic is a back up and it could magically work for whatever reason - there would be no need to use the swap magic discs in the first place. at all!

check ebay or go to the swap magic website. once you have a legitimate version youll be able to play all your back ups!

OR

get a mod chip...
