HELP I BRICKED MY PSP!

I was trying to downgrade my 2.80 to 1.50 and when I was doing it it had an error and said to turn off the psp.. now it won't come back oN!! The green light comes on but no sound comes from my psp! Do I have to buy a new psp or something....

why would that error come up??? now i am scared to downgrade
