I am trying to backup fever 2004. I put it on my 120 gig HDD through HDDLoader and when I select it it goes black and nothing more. I have tried twice. I also sent the default.xbe file to my desktop and patched it with Craxtion and sent it back. Same thing. Is there another file I need to patch or what else can I try.

Thanks in advance,

i have been having this problem with several games. even after patching. the only thing i can think of is it does an actual dvd check to see if you are using a disc or not.

This is the only game I have had problems with. I figure other problems out, but not this one.
Has someone backed this one up successfully yet?
How?
Disk or Harddrive?

I got the same problem with my copy of NFL fever 2004. However, this is not the only game I can't properly patch. The only game that I have successfully patch was NBA streets Vol2. Others will say they were patched but the screen turns black during loading attempts.

I have tried Craxtion v21, and XBEmidp2. I have "Patcher", but I can't figure out how to use it. Not much of readme.nfo file could be to blame.

I have a 120hdd, chameleon v3, EvoxD.6, and had slayer's 2.1 install the HDD and other goodies.

Could this have something to do with a PAL vs NTSC standards. Try changing the setup on your xbox.
Just a thought.

Good Luck

NFL Fever needs an extra patch to run from harddrive. You need to move a temp Art folder from I think X to C. To be sure check XBox-Scene, I had read it there awhile back.
