What media have you been using for your burn of KH2:FM+? It may seem like a redundant question, but you'd be surprised how often a quick media brand change can solve a handful of problems. Also, if you have the proper firmware update for your burner and a decent to good burner, you shouldn't have too many problems. It's not that using Memorex or whatever is bad, it's what you tend to find. As long as you don't get CMC MAGs for your media ID, even Memorex can be worthwhile if you're lucky or know where to find it from what I've heard and used. TDKs are also good, but they often have CMC MAGs as their media ids too although strangely, their CMC MAGs are much better than Memorex surprisingly. I've tried and tested both brands btw.
Also, if you do a careful inspection while playing the game, KH2:FM, have you ever noticed any number of hitches that were noticeable? The thing what I have loved since I switched over to Taiyo Yudens 8x DVD+Rs is the quality burns I can get with my LITE-ON burner. What I mainly like about the media switch test is you don't know until you try and compare and contrast the results. If this isn't your problem, and, from what I'm assuming, you have a slim PS2 for Swap Magic -- hence, from your quote about "i only got this ps2 for sm while..." -- then it might not be a media problem but the slim PS2's overheating issue. I can guaranteed you, to a certain degree, even though Sony has claimed to have solved their overheating issues with the slimline, it's best not to go over the recommended hour or two of gameplay and simply let it rest. For some odd reason, my PS2 has trouble running certain games like Growlanser Generations or my PSX Thousand Arms without freezing and etc... when it is quite hot to say the least after an hour of gameplay.
