I have just recently begun to use ink-jet printable Ritek DVD's with an Epson R260. I'm looking for the best way to protect the media from smudges and water. Would anyone recommend using like an acrylic lacquer to lightly coat the media after the ink has dried or is this inadvisable? If that won't work what would you recommend.
Sprayfix, Pressit, Ghiant, and CD/DVD Guard are all brands of spray lacquer for inkjet printed media. You can get matt and glossy varieties. Use in well ventilated location.
