I am really struggling on getting my Xbox HDD upgrade to work.

I am able to lock my hard drive, but when I plug it into my Xbox I get the error code 6.

I have been using XboxHDM v1.9 for my hard drive upgrade. When I go to set the lock on my hard drive I use the command:
lockhd -a

The problem is that it says it cannot find the linux cd. To get around that I just manually typed in the password.

I found 3 different eeprom passwords and all seemed to fail. Here was my methods to get my eeprom.
1> FTP the eeprom from the xbox backup
2> Auto generate lock key
3> ConfigMagic

All three of those methods gave me different lock codes and all failed to work when I plugged into my Xbox.

It says that my drive is locked so its just narrowed down to my code.

My questions are:
1> How come when I use the auto method for locking the hdd, it says to insert linux cd?
2> How do I correctly recover my eeprom lock code?
3> What is my best methods for locking my hard drive?
