Is there anyway to spoof the fw? Like change it to 3.30 OE-A to 3.40 OE-A, when you're really running 3.30 OE-A?

yeah i think so, theres se/oe version changer it comes with the psp theme back march 07 edition on dl.qj.net.
It's actually pretty funny to do, because you can fool someone, like u can make someone think you have 3.40 and use homebrew (not 3.40oe), when u are actually on an oe firmware.
