There are several options available that I'm aware of and it depends on the kind of media you have (VHS, DVD, miniDV, or etc.)and the kind of camcorder you have.

Some models have connections built into the camera that make transferring video to a computer very easy and others require a bit more work.

You also generally need some software to 'capture' the video.

So if you know what kind of media your using and the model/type of camcorder it'd help in narrowing down the options.

Is there a way in transferring the video from MiniDV to PC, instead of having to (re)capture from the PC again?
