So is there an unlock code for the Nokia 6680 then? I see on E-Bay that there are quite of few of these phones being sold stating that they have been unlocked.How can this be?

Check feedback ratings for the seller. It's possible they were able to buy in bulk directly from someone at Nokia. If a phone is bought from Nokia directly, it's not locked to any provider.

The main thing is to reed the feedback and also check what item the feedback was left for and you should have your answer.
