I just finished downloading an iso image of some language software. I have tried burning a copy on two separate computers with two separate programs (Roxio and Nero), and both times I am left with a CD that does not run as an image, but instead lists all of the individual files on the CD individually. It was my understanding that an iso would be an exact copy, and therefore run as if it were the original software. I apologize if I am missing out on some very important step or concept, but any help in this matter would be much appreciated!

That sounds like it's OK. It's a software installation disk, right? Full of files. What do you mean by "run as an image"? What were you expecting it to do? Are you expecting some kind of autorun action?
