This is my first post ever and while I have read others to help my problem seems to be rare.
I have bought my son a 4gb ms then formatted the stick in the psp then copied games that I know work fine on his 1gb ms to the iso folder on the new stick.
They will not play. I replace the 1gb ms and all is well.
So then I reformatted the ms in the psp and copied all files from 1gb to 4gb using pc card reader and the psp usb conection.
Tried it both ways (4gb in reader 1gb in psp and visa versa)
Still no joy.
Still getting 80020321 can't run iso's
All the memory shows up and is available, movies pictures and music fine.
system 3.03 oe-b

Please help......

No not a fake, Lexar Platinum II bought from big box store.
Also, as mentioned before, all other media files play in fine on psp with the 4gb stick and the psp recognizes the memory.

change the stick from Fat12 to fat32
or vise-versa... cann't remeber which is which
search the forum on that matter, im not sure on how to do it...
altho i find that odd..
i got a 4gig also, and everything works fine.

Ah... lexar..
my buddy had the same problem with his lexar 4gig bought at fry's...
He ended up returning it and bought a fake ebay one.

I had told him, it can't be the memory stick, and a lexar one is just as good as a sony one. But now, i dont know. It might really be their cards have some issues with the psp.

Edit:
Try reformat to FAT first,
Go to Start -> Run -> type in "cmd"

then in the dos window type in
format e:/ fs:FAT

e:/ being your memory stick drive
