im posting this thread cuz i had a hard time fixing my internal error code on my psp, meaning that i couldnt connect to the internet via wifi. here's two roads you can take:
1. method time: about 20 seconds
go to system settings on your psp, then go to restore default settings
NOTE: this does not work for all internal errors. this could disable wma playback on your psp and not allow you to listen to some songs. (but luckily, most songs are already in mp3 format)
and if this doesnt work try #2
2. method time: at the least: one week
This method requires you to take apart your whole psp because you are going to replace your wifi board which is located at the very back of the psp.
this method is really difficult and i suggest you go to a proffesional. first, you have to buy a new replacement wifi board/antenna. i got mine on ebay, about 5 us dollars + shipping which is about 8 dollars if its from hong kong.
after you recieve that, look up a manual of how to take apart your psp, because aparently, your'e going to replace your wifi board.
after finding an efficient method, preferrably one method that is a video and one that has step by step photos, you should go to a proffesional or attempt to take apart your psp yourself.
NOTE: i highly recommend that you take this to a proffesional. or if you want to try this on your own, like me, get precision screw drivers. these screws are very small and delicate, they are very easy to ruin.
once you have successfully replaced your wifi board, there is a possibility that you wont be able to game share or connect with other psps. to fix this, you have to downgrade your psp and upgrade to a custom firmware. if you dont know how to do this, you should read a whole new thread. once you have successfully installed a custom firmware, go to google and look up the error code that pops up
along with the words 'change mac address'. i had the link to the site with a tutorial on this, but i lost it. sorry.
hope this helped.
