TV signal senders - any work with dbox2 remote control???

want to buy one of the TV signal sender sets so i can watch tv in a different room in house.

all sets will transmit image but also state that they will not work with cable (ntl / telewest) remote controls.
something to do with IR signals.

anyone know where the dbox2 remote control stands in this?

will the sets allow use of dbox2 remote in other room?
