Hi there,

I am using xp pro and I was wondering if there are any updates that are importent
(when you want to ripp and burn dvd movies)

the aspi layer that comes with xp sucks!! I would get yourself a new aspi layer and you will find things will speed up.

Soes XP even have an ASPI layer that comes with it? I dont think so, but im not 100% sure.

XP does not have a typical aspi layer. It uses their own little set of commands to emulate an aspi layer..and it does a poor job....
