I used my home computer at work on their network yesterday and now it's being screwy. When I access yahoo mail I can't see any text in the message box. Also, my operating system won't let me search forfiles, will block links to software downloads (I tried to download Mozilla Firefox thinking it might be explorer), I can't run Norton Antivirus and can't print from webpages. When I first log on there is a prompt that something is wrong with actskn43.ocx but I can't find that file. I've cleaned out my browser serveral times and re0started but the problems persist. Also, Spycatcher doesn't find anything. Any ideas?

I tried. When I click on "launch system restore" I get a blank white screen. Is there another way I can initiate a system restore to get around the blank screen?

On mine I hit repeatedly F8 at the first sign of life when I start up before the LOGO screen. You should get some options like restore to last known good configuration or safe mode. When you hooked up at work did you load any programs?

Taking the system back to the last working configuration didn't help either....same problem.
