Nada, no...

The problem isn't your monitor or pc as Enter The Matrix is SecuROM 4.8.3 cd protected. It's possible your video card doesn't meet the game's minima; requirements as many had the same trouble trying to play Command& Conquer Generals which a nVidia GeForce2 64 meg card is needed, not 32 meg. If you wan't to learn how to backup this easy cd protection (my opinion), follow the links that Praetor provided.

To determine your system specs; goto Start --> Run, Type dxdiag and click OK. Your CPU (processor), Memory and DirectX version is listed on the System tab. Your video card specifcations can be found under the Display tab under Name and Chip Type. Your soundcard is listed under the Sound tab in the Name field.
And to find your motherboard:
To determine your system specs; if you have Nero InfoTools installed, open it up and goto the Hardware tab; this tab lists out all the critical specs regarding your computer. You can get Nero InfoTools from http://www.cd-rw.org/software/cdr_software/cdr_tools/nero_info_tool.cfm
