hi sorry this is gonna be a very newbi question i have spend a couple hrs trying to search for answer but too confusing so plz don't flame.
1.what is the newest psp version? can i play homebrew games/appz/iso on them?
2. if can't on newest one then which one can i use to play em?

the newest offical sony firmware is 3.40. the newest custom firmware 3.40OE-A. to get to a custom firmware(where you can play homebrew , iso's, and psx games) you have to be on 1.5. you can only downgrade from 3.03 and below. any higher(eg 3.10 and up) your stuck for the time being.
