i use img burn to burn my games. i set the speed at 2.4 times but it usualy only burns at 1.1 or 1.2. some of my games will burn at 2.4 but most go really slow. is there any way i can make it go faster?

Make sure your drive transfer mode is well set to DMA mode.You can find a guide here .

Also make sure you have the latest firmware for your drive and use quality media like Verbatim.
