I'm a n00b to this whole scene, and I've used Afterdawn forums extensively as a research tool about this topic. Unfortunately, I'm still a bit unclear on a few things, and this is one of them:

When I am burning the backup, I have multiple .rar files. I am assuming I only have to unrar 1 of these files to get the image. Now, do I burn the ISO image or the dvd image? Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated.

yes double click one of the rar files and extract this will give you the image and dvd.file

burn with the dvd file as this contains laybreak info
but it doesnt hurt to set it manually to.
