I bought one from SoCalMods or something like that a long time ago. DMS4 pro.
Just now it got kicked over and won't play any disc :(
So I want to get a new one. Premodded, so it will work guaranteed. Hopefully a DMS4pro SE or whatever. And keep in mind I do not know how to flash stuff, so the Toxic OS should already be there.

BTW, the ps2 still reads normal games. Just not any backup games....
I CAN access the Toxic OS menu by holding square and starting it up but changing options around doesn't help at all. Yet the Toxic logo still shows up when a game starts.
With burnt games, it shows the toxic logo, then just black.
CAN ANYONE HELP ME FIX IT?

The new slim PS2s there do not have DMS4 pro. Are any of these chips better? I've heard about problems with the matrix one...

please do not post answers when you have no idea what your talking about. Premodded means you buy it with a modchip already in it, and they ship it to you. And sending your PS2 to a shop, having them mod it and then send it back is the NORMAL way that most mod shops do it.
what, do you expect them to run over to your house and install it for you?
And Teammodders.com is a very good site with people you can not only trust, but can count on to do a good job and stand behind what they do. Which is more than you can say about most other mod shops on the net.

I know what's their problam. They have a problam with their lens and teammodders has a repair service. Oo

Anyway, the guy was just looking for a place to buy a premodded PS2 in, so i gave him TeamModders. Where he can buy premodded consoles online. I know what premodded is. Just looking at the word tells you it's defenition.

Well... sorry. I just didn't know if to trust them. Actually, i live close to some david guy from their team who mods PS2s.

The problem isn't with the laser lens. It reads games just fine, juts not any backup games ever since it fell over. Must have knocked the chip out of place.

that is what i would guess. If the chip got knocked loose, or a wire came loose it would still play originals just fine. Have you tried to enable/disable the chip to see if that works? Just a shot in the dark.
OmriSama, Yes Davbere does great work. I have had him do a few things on some of my systems. His work is top notch, just look at his install pictures in the forums and you can see what i mean. I was willing to send my systems all the way across the country to California just to have him do the work. That should tell you something.
all that being said, anyone who want to know what kind of work they do only have to visit the forums at Teammodders.com, you don't have to take my word for it. They have a PS2 install picture section where you can see their work. And a site feedback section where you can read posts from many very happy customers.

They have been around longer then most other shops and have never changed there names like other shops do over time. They don't have pre-mods on their site ATM but I understand a lot of times if you email them they can hook you up with the best stuff on the market.
