chrono cross freezing problem

i heard that being in 3.20OE-A can bypass the freezing problem. i started the game perfectly until i fight a big dragon. this part is toward the beginning of the game. i freezes for the first time there. i don't know why other passed it but it kinda getting on my nerves. any help?

Probably what you heard was false. I have 3.30 oe-a' and it freezes there as well. I don't think chrono cross is supported yet

i found out how to play it. when loading it up on popstation, name the game file to SLPS 01222 and you'll be able to play it through out the whole game...i think???

nope. but im not too sure.....im only at the pirate ship. but hey does your psp freeze when playing psx games, not all the time but like sometimes your game won't save(the flash doesn't flash after you save your game.) ???

Uhhh I'll try to remember

I have plugins enabled, like vshcapture. My kernal is 3.30, no umd is disabled, cpu speed is 333mhz.

I think its probabaly something wrong with the eboot

Hmm I now have 3.40 OE-A... I don't want to experiment going through OVER HALF OF THE DAMN GAME TWICE AGAIN ... so does anyone know how to fix it yet?

yes. i beat the whole game like 2 weeks ago. here's how:

when using popstation (or watever you use) name the game SLPS 12222, instead of watever the game real ID is. then you should be able to play thoroughly without any problems.
