I am shooting with a panasonic dvc20, 4:3 mode only. I want to possibly use vegas 7 for editing for widescreen. What is the best way to mask my lcd screen for widescreen and/ or should I use the letterbox feature and mask, shoot 4:3,and how do I know how to compose for widescreen so when I edit I will not crop off top and bottom of composed picture? Is vegas 7 good software for deinterlacing my 60i footage. Need the film look. Hope this is understood.
