heres the thing. i had vista since i got this computer. i put windows xp on the same hdd as a different os and they installed and booted just fine. vista on D:/windows and xp on D:/xp

but recently i went to do some stuff on xp and it doesnt know where my ethernet modem is or my sound card. making it imossible to do anything. i have emachines W3609. i looked everywhere. and on the emachines site all of thier drivers for my computer say vista. help me plz
