Unless you want to hook your 360 up with a nearby computer and use the computer's wireless adapter to bridge the connections together.

only two ways it works.
Wired to the computer (modem or router)
or wireless with an adapter

take your pick. If you want wireless be prepared to spend about $60 on a good wireless router and another $90 on a goo wireless adapter (i suggest Linksys for both as they have good Xbox Live compatible models)
