I am trying to record from my dbox to my pc using dboxwinserver. The program starts to record but only records about 3 seconds and then stops. Can anyone tell me what might be wrong ??

what are you using to connect? and what software is on the box?

on another note, has anyone tried connecting a hard drive to the dbox?

Using an ethernet crossover cable. I think the software on the box is tuxbox with the sportster uk 17.5 image. I havent connected the hallenberg ide interface yet. That is going to be the next project.
