Have you tried to defrag the hard drive and then see if it shuts down properly or even a virus scan??

This can happen if you abruptly shut down your machine when its instlling updates. Probably hold down the power button for a couple of seconds, restart the machine and let it update and install completely. It might be slow for a bit after that but then it will pick up....

also check for viruses or spyware....

havieri23, first you should run spyware program like Ad-Aware and then delete all of spyware that have infected into your pc and try it if it's does not work..you must go into you control panel uninstall all of the update of you windows..and use task manager to see any suspect program that run in the background and turn it off..with in you case i think you have use to many time p2p software to downdload...if you use p2p make sure you back up your window otherwise you will waste your time to format your pc....cheerssss..

ray, for someone that claims to be a web developer and engineer, you're not too bright. your sig is bigger than the maximum limit, you're not allowed to have any text with a sig taller than 100 pixels, you spam with pictures and have several times started crap threads that don't belong on AD, and you're posting insulting and irrelevant comments on this thread. you're going to get banned if you don't straighten out.
