Anyone here who has ordered from ModChip.com, I was just curious when you got your order. I recieved an email from them last Monday (The 7th) and as of today (6 mail business days later) I have yet to receive my stuff. Been dying to get my MagicKeys II and SwapMagic 3.6 discs to try out on the Slim PS2 I recently got.

I know it says wait 8 business days before contacting them back, and I know it was a busy mail week with Mothersday but I did order some stuff off of eBay and got it in 3 days with regular non priority shipping. Anyways, i'm just curious as to what those who have ordered from them before had experienced.

Thanks!

You also have to consider what shipping method you chose. If you got something like priority mail or whatever it's called for fast delivery, you can easily get your stuff within 2~3 days depending on where you're buying the stuff from and how much you had to pay for it. I didn't bother spending much on shipping and handling when I bought my stuff from allmodchip.com. Like a few dollars at most and got it within a week since I wasn't so desperate for it. Just saying. Good luck on getting your stuff.

Thanks, I'm just trying to figure out where it's coming from since I did order some stuf off of eBay that came from Seattle and made it to South Carolina in 3 or 4 days and that was sent via regular mail as well.

Oh well, hopefully I'll get it tomorrow then I can stare at them all day long while I'm at then go home and try em!! *sigh*

Well i went to that website once, sent 'em an email, and they've never replied. I'd use Mod-Chip.com or TeamModders if i were you.

I ordered the Slim Kit Pro with Swap Magic and it arrived exactly 1 week later. They are shipping from Monaco, Europe. When I emailed them they promptly replied.

Yay, got them today so it pretty much just took a week. Since they were coming from overseas it doesn't bother me I just wanted them sooner rather than later. Now of course I'm stuck at work with two swap magic discs and these tiny magic keys (I knew they'd be small, but didn't think that small) till about midnight tonight. Oh well, I'll keep reading the forums, then post later tonight if I get them installed properly. Hopefully after all the reading I've done, I shouldn't have a problem installing them, but we'll see!!!

Thanks all.

HOORAY!!!!!!

Okay so I got home late (about 3am) and the first two tools went it without any problems. Tool C ended up being a little pain in the ass at first and then I noticed mine was cut a little differently than the pictures but I fiddled with it for about 5 minutes and it worked. Of course I didn't take the sticky shit off the back so I ended up just using some tape to tape it down for now but it works great and I can close the lid.

However when a disc is spinning and the lid is closed, it makes a little vibration noise I don't like. Didn't seem to scratch the disc any but I'll keep it slightly open while playing games and hopefully it'll help reduce some heat too.

So I burned an ISO of GTA:VCS with my crappy Phillips SDVD8800 with the AX31 firmware, and booktyping set to DVD-ROM in Nero. Ran Swap Magic 3.6, swappped discs and it actually worked. Oh and i burned it onto a Verbatim 16x DVD+R (Lightscribe Top to make labels) at 8x speed using Nero!!

Thanks to all those posts on the boards I've been reading for the past few weeks, they really helped!!
