Need just a bit more info here.
How are they incomplete - the dvd just stops playing, the burn fails etc.
What are you using? Shrink compresses the movie no matter how it is to fit on a single layer blank. The bigger the movie the more compression that would be used though.

No Shrink can handle this - 2+ hour movie or not.
Longer movies tend to be bigger in size so more compression would be needed.
So the burn was succesfully it's when you watch it on a dvd player that it just stops at a certain point I'm quessing?
Try it in the pc - see if you can see the whole movie there.
You're backing up this movie from the original right?

to see if is shrink has the problem, watch the output file from shrink to see if the whole movie is there.
What burning program are you using?
What is your total method(programs) for backup?

Ok so you're saying the copy is ok meaning the full movie burned it just stops in the dvd player?
If that's the case post the last Nero log - you'll find them here - Nero automatically saves the last 10 in a text file - just need the last one only.
For Nero 6 - program files>ahead>nero>nerohistory
For Nero 7 - program files>nero>nero 7>core>nerohistory.
Edit out the serial # too - begins w/ 1A, 1C or 5C.

Please hold while trying to do a mind meld here. Warning .... not enough info .... aborting .... You need to give a lot more info than a one-sentence answer. A series of Q&A is tiring.

Very true but we try :)
@memo64
No worries on the english - doing okay there just did more info.
See my above post on posting the last Nero log - that should give us some clues on whats going on.
Play the copy on the pc too and see if you can skip to the end of the movie.
That will tell us if it's just the dvd player.
