psx game freezes after a couple of minutes

for some games, after a while, the game would not save. for it to save, the orange flash has to flash. but after a while it didn't. that's when the saving stops and the game will continue but without saving. and i have to turn it fully off in order for the system go shut down. standby doesn't work when this happen. im i the only one who is experiencing this? any tipx

What firmware are you using? 3.10oe is the most buggy one i think.

this has happened lors of time when im on 3.10. but im in 3.40 now. and it's still happening.

I'd say go back to 1.5 first, then upgrade back. also try re-flash your flash1

see? that's the confusing part. i don't know how to go back to 1.5 and i don't know wat is "re-flash my flash1" is? can you help me plz?

Scroll down to recovery winstaller. Get that, read the readme, run it. That'll get you down to 1.5. From there upgrade to 3.40OE. Try first and see if that'll fix it for ya.

nope. it's still not working. after 2 saves, it won't save anymore. now about the flash thingy. tell me how to do it.
