ok so in this picture you can see that I have the disc drive completely
disconnected.






now I am pretty sure all of those wires connect to here (except for the tiny one I think that one farther down on this side of the console)




so please correct me if I am wrong!!!!


but the one chord I am having the most trouble with is this one






I have no idea where this thing goes

can someone please help me?

I think that it goes into the friction lock right above the sticker that says 662827B6E.

yeah thats what I thought to, however I can not get it to stay in place, it just doesn't want to go in. I also tried pulling up the brown thing and then pushing it in, it went in a little farther but still didn't lock into place.
