Hello,

Ive just burnt a ps2 disc for my son but when it plays its in black and white. Im not sure what the original was but Im guessing it might have been NTSC and I live in Aust so require PAL.

Is there a way to convert NTSC ps2 dvds to PAL? And is that possibly what the problem above is or could it be something else?

That sounds like it would be the problem. So here are a few things you can try.
1. If using a mod chip in your PS2 you can find out which one you have, enter it's settings and see if it has a "force mode" which wil force all NTSC games into PAL format.
2. If using swap magic try setting the video mode on the main screen. You can set it to either PAL or NTSC so it plays the games from other regions in color
3. If all else fails you can try converting it.

Or you can just get a copy of the game in your format.
