I have copied a movie with DVD Shrink. I used re-author mode, deleting the menues and extras and saving the sound and subtitles. When I play the movie with Windows media player I cannot run the subtitles: menu Play->Captions and Subtitles has only two options: 'Off' and 'defaults...', no subtitles that I saved. The menu 'DVD features' (appearing after clicking on the screen with the right button) also doesn't have the selection of the subtitles.
But if to run DVD Shrink and click Open Disk, the program shows that the copied disk does contain all the subtitles that I wanted to save.
Thus, my question is: how to make the subtitles working? Is it possible to save them (working) in the re-author mode?

DVD Shrink does save the subtitles (if you choose) in 'Re-author'.
I don't use WMP, but VLC and Media Player Classic both allow selection of the subs - although the method of selection is not obvious.
VLC - Video > Subtitles
Classic - Navigate > Subtitle Language.
