Could someone please explain the best way of converting Avi To DVD.Also the programs needed to do it.

I would love to learn how to convet .AVI files to dvd filesthat would play on a dvd and pc's.
Any software needed would be great to.

Use TMPGEnc to convert AVI to mpeg2. Use TMPGEnc DVD Author to convert the mpeg2 to VOB (DVD) format. Burn as normal.

Yeah, i dont have any that have menu and features. You can create menus with TMPGEnc DVD Author. Also, quality wise, its ok, nothing special

Can you do a step by step on that please???
I have 2 AVI's that i want to put onto DVD and I keep stuffing it up lol

Pretty much every DVD site on the web has a "step-by-step" guide for this conversion process. I don't mind typing out a quick guide if a situation is unique, but this is basic stuff that takes VERY little searching to turn up!
