FrontPage issues or server ?

I hope this is the correct forum. I've created my business website on GoDaddy with frontpage and all is well. I have free space with my cable provider so I decided to put up a "hobby" site. I've used all the same software for creating and publishing this site but I cannot for the life of me get any pic files to show up. Not even a small gif file. All I get is the white square with a boxed-in red X in the upper corner. The white "frame where the gif is supposed to be is there but no pic. I was thinking the server may not have frontpage extensions activated but the vti folders are there.(?) Doesn't that tell you the FP extensions on the server are on? I can preview the index file (home page) in IE7 and all looks good until they are on the server. Then no pics. Is there a frontpage issue? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
